Scepter Golf Club Newsletter
Dear Bill Meier,

We have received a number of inquiries requesting further operational information regarding the transition from Falcon Watch membership to Scepter Membership. Membership pricing for next year is still being developed and will be communicated in further correspondence.

Driving Range
The driving range at Falcon Watch will remain open. On July 1, we will return to the range ball pyramid system until a permanent range plan is in place. We are evaluating several options including an aqua range at Scepter, if it is determined that the aqua range is not feasible, we will enhance and improve the practice range at Falcon Watch. As always, we will inform the membership when and if changes will be made.

Men's & Ladies' League
Our 18-hole Ladies' League takes place on Tuesdays with an 8:30 a.m. shotgun start. Nine-hole Ladies' alternate on the front-nine and back-nine each week and tee times vary, but is usually it will between 8 a.m. and 9 a.m. Tee times are posted each week on the website.
Men's League takes place on Wednesdays with a 8:30 a.m. shotgun start. You may register online or on the bulletin board in the golf shop for either league.

Fixture groups at Scepter
Below are the requirements for fixture groups:

- You must play weekly
- Require more than two tee times(more than eight players every week)
- Are comprised of at least 50 per cent Home Club Members
- Are inclusive(welcome new Members to join their roster)
- Fixture groups will only happen at a Home Club.
- Fixture groups are required to turn in pairings at least two days prior to play date.

The starting times for all fixture groups will be estimated, no group will be guaranteed the exact same starting time every week. If more than one group is requesting the similar time, they will rotate from week-to-week with some single or double times scattered in.

If a fixture group is found to continually show up with fewer groups than are booked for them, they will forfeit times for their group.

We will make every attempt to not book fixture groups back-to-back to allow availability for Home Club Members that are not in fixture groups for equal availability for all.

Please email or stop in to update me on your fixture group requirements. Please include how many tee times you will need, the day and approximate time you are looking for. Also include off-season and in-season requirements. If you need information on how to join existing golfing groups at Scepter please talk to me in-person or email me at llipnicky@clublink.ca.

In other news, we are proud to announce that Tony Simpson will be joining Scepter Golf Club as our head golf professional. Tony has been the head golf professional at Renaissance and has been a member of the PGA of America for 25 years and brings a wealth of experience in various capacities serving those who love to play golf. Few golf professionals have had the wonderful career opportunities as Tony and he looks forward to sharing his knowledge to enhance your experience as golf member at Scepter. At the top of his list of accomplishments are serving as director of the Executive Golf Trail in The Villages for 7 years, achieving status as a Recognized Coach for The First Tee, and starting his own charitable foundation. However, most favorite are the stories of the hundreds of golfers he has helped on the lesson tee. Tony looks forward to engaging with you and becoming a part of the Scepter family.
